Oh dear, I seem to have dropped the Constitution
So I was thinking about dumb political bullshit in the shower- story of my life- and more specifically, thinking about how there’s evidence that various founding fathers may have been gay. I really don’t remember how I got around to that topic, but I was trying to remember which specific people had evidence like that. Some of the arguments are flimsy, but there are a few you can make a definite case for. Either way, for some reason, it hit me.
There has to be founding fathers slash.
Seriously. There are already fandoms for real people slash. I was about to type ‘there has to be historical figure slash’ up there, but then I realized it already exists and I am quite uncomfortably aware of it. ‘Hitler’ and ‘OTP’ should never, ever be in the same sentence.
But really, it has to exist out there somewhere. You’ve already got powdered wigs and girly tights, and think about the pairing possibilities! Shit, I haven’t even bothered to check yet- there’s probably a whole folder full of crap over on ygallery or rule34 or something that I’ll discover immediately after posting this.
By all means, if anyone has evidence of this, let me know. I WILL BE VINDICATED.

There is slash for everything. It is both hilarious and rather mortifying.
I was just talking about this with Rince – slash in general, not Founding Fathers slash in particular – and decided that if there is other sentient life in the universe and it finds us, we will have a lot of explaining to do. I kind of hope the hypothetical aliens would have the same insane, all-consuming sex drive that humans possess and would have managed to repress it to a similar degree, so they’d at least be understanding.
Chances are, though, they’d reproduce by budding and will assume that we’re a species of perverts, imbeciles and accidental geniuses. But mostly the first two.
Anyway, vaguely sauntering back towards the topic: I have not seen Founding Fathers slash. Frankly, I would not even know where to look. LJ seems like the obvious answer. I mean, come on, there’s a community for Beatles RPing and Beatles slash on LJ. But I’m not willing to look. I am a wuss.
